How To: Get Listed In Our Photographer's Directory

These detailed instruction will walk you throught the process of getting your photography business listed online using our new Photographer's Directory.

How to access the Photographer's Directory:

In order to access the new Photographer's Directory simply clck the Directory link that is located in the main navagation bar as shown.



The link will direct you to our Browse Members page where you the viewer can enter in any search filters you like and the software will then only display those photographers that fir that criteria. The photographer listing will also show 6 random photos from the users Gallery Uploads as their portfolio images.



If you click any of the thumbnails you will be directed to that photo's main location in order to view the full size image.

How to get yourself listed on the Photographer's Directory:

In order to access the new Photographer's Directory simply clck the User CP link that is located in the main navagation bar as shown.



This will open up you User Control Panel and you will notice the portion of the menu located on the left hand has a Photographer's Directory menu. Click on the Edit Directory Information link to first add you business information.



You will be given a new form to fill out that will ask various questions about your business. All of this information will be public data that can be indexed by search engines so please do not include any information that you do not want the public to be aware of. Most of the information requested is information that might already be displayed online by way of your business website.



Once the information is completed, click the Save Changes button at the bottom of the page. Your information will now be added to our Photographer's Directory.

How to get portfolio photos on the Photographer's Directory:

In order to upload photos to be displayed in your directory entry in the Photographer's Directory simply clck the Upload Directory Photos link in your User Control Panel page as shown.



This will open up you User Control Panel and you will notice the portion of the menu located on the left hand has a Photographer's Directory menu. Click on the Edit Directory Information link to first add you business information.



Clicking the link will direct you to our main Gallery portion of the website. The photos within this section are what is directly linked to your Photographer's Directory listing.

In order to upload new photos click the Upload Photos link on the upper right hand side of the page.



You will be directed to our Uploads page where you can upload up to 5 photos at a time to any of the sections listed in the Gallery and/or just place them in your personal gallery page. All of the photos you upload will be used randomly in you directory listing.



Once you have your files selected, click the Upload/Submit button located at the bottom of the page and your images will be transferred.

I thought the pictures previously loaded in Gallery would be in your album and directory.
Can there be 18+ pictures there ???

I've sent 4 brides to our photographer's directory just THIS WEEK in order to help them locate a photographer and i was surprised to see a bunch of names missing that i know shoot weddings..

Its free advertising for you and your business so get yourself listed...

Just sent two Houston brides links to the Photog Directory so get yourself listed AND get some photos posted too... I see a bunch of photogs listed that didnt have any of their sample photos posted...

This is FREE advertising for your photography business... Why not take full advantage of it right?

Abel - is it possible to remove the user titles from the directory? It looks a little strange to see (Forum Master) or (You can't be serious) following our names.

Just revamped it...

Replaced Username with actual Studio Name in the header
Replaced Username with actual first and last name in the info block
Removed Usertitle
