Any suggestions on Mat boards? I currently use boards from Light Impressions the archival matboards which are extremely expensive, but look nice, really nice. And the angst of almost everyone else, I mat in white, and when I frame, I use a think black metal frame. Hobby Lobby sells large ones and they are almost always on sale. I bought one (32 x 40 or something) for $7.99 and it was 50% off, so $4. Hobby Lobby will cut it to size for you and I don't believe it costs you anything. I used to mat my own work (cross stitch then) and bought a mat cutter. It works, but for the same price of a mat, they will cut it...I don't do it myself any more! |

Renae, Are you saying they will cut both the outside and inside of the mat for FREE? Yeesh, I've been buying mine there and cutting them myself all these years! Deanna |
