Second Alarm fire in Round Rock - 07-24-2010, 12:45 PM

This duplex, car, and carport fire on Country Aire in Round Rock last week went to a second alarm, bringing seven companies of firefighters to the scene. The air temperature during this blaze was 98°F, which I can tell you from first-hand experience, is very warm to be working in full turnouts, SCBA, and other gear.

Nice shots and I agree with it being very hot in your bunker gear.

I was pleased to learn that the fourth photo (the only one posted that's in portrait orientation) was selected by the FCC's Public Safety and Homeland Security Bureau as their "Photo of the Month" for July 2010 and will be displayed on their web site (PSHSB Public Safety Photo Project and Contest) and used in promotional materials.
