Smile Bonfire 2009 Photostory - Lots of photos - 11-29-2009, 11:02 PM

These are all from Aggie Student Bonfire 2009 in College Station. I went out to cut, stack and burn with my old dorm Schuhmacher once again this year.

I was not sure where exactly to post but this seemed the most likely place as it tells a story.

The photos are not entirely in chronological order. I just reordered some to relate the different subjects better.

The smaller fires they lit first are a memorial for the 1999 collapse. There were 12 around the stack representing the 12 who died in the tragedy.

Lots more are available here My Bonfire Gallery

Hope yall like it; comments/critique welcome.

Nice series. I really like the group shot as well. Not too fond of seeing my beloved Bevo about to get roasted tho...

Great essay, thanks for sharing! You've got some really good individual images here, and the set tells the story really well.
