Very cool, and worth bragging about. I try to avoid SXSW, but will be covering NX35 and ACL Fest as usual. BTW, why is a photographer that shoots rock climbing covering SXSW?!? |

I have to attend the event though i must prefer to spend the weekend shooting birds. Good thing the event is being held at Austin, If it were Houston, i would have tempted to bring my birding outfit :) |

One of my best friend's works for SXSW, so I get a badge every year, if I want one. I only went for Metallica last year, but this year I made a weekend of it. Saw some out-of-state friends who came in, took my neighbor along for the ride, met Woody Harrellson and almost McConaughey, and generally partied till my feet almost fell off. Good times. Highlight of the weekend was Cheap Trick, they were AWESOME....easily the best show I saw. Stone Temple Pilots was good, Hole was good.....Cheap Trick NAILED it. |
