"Underdog" (the Doritos one with the bark collar) was shot on a 5D Mark II, so I have to give it props, but so far my favourite was Google's "Parisian Love" for telling a story without dialogue or a single actor.
Didn't know it was shot on a 5D that is pretty amazing!

I thought that Google ad that Daniel mentions was clever. On the whole, though, I thought most were pretty disappointing.

Oh, ok...sorry! I just noticed you had posted that for the second time right after we responded.

Somehow, I always miss the "good" commercials. I didn't see any good ones last night, but I kept getting up during a lot of the commercials.

The Census commercial takes both awards. Any surprise?

The Doritos ad has been running for a few weeks. It wasn't new.

On balance, Coke did well as usual. Bud was On and Off. Take your pick.

She likes me! She really likes me!

I guess my posts got deleted despite me not attacking anyone here. As I said already in one of my posts lost in space, my original comment was a silly offhanded comment (indicated by my "lol"). I only followed it up when someone got bent out of shape. I do not honestly believe the ref's were bought off, just thought they made some bad calls.

Re: Who dat - 02-08-2010, 04:30 PM

It's all good.

I didn't like the coke commercial. The thong on an old bears player was distrubing to say the least. My eyes will never recover.

All in all, I was disappointed. I like the budlight commercials: Too Light, Too Heavy. And they are not new.

A few, I just didn't make the connection with.

The dockers no pants was really distrubing. There was one that was something about causal work and people were in their undies... Not sure what that one was about.
