Really I wouldn't call these shots AWESOME in my book but a couple are pretty good, one needs him to spend 10 minutes and to take out the power lines and pole to improve it and several have too much vignetting in my book.

I am not promoting the guy at all but he does have an interesting way to try to sell his photos. I would have in-bedded a small jpg of one of the pics in the email to get people to click to the website.

I generally don't click through on these types of emails but he hit an account that I use for some of my photo mags so I thought it might be legit, guess they sell their email lists to certain businesses.

How is contacting other photographers an interesting way to sell his photos?!? It sounds like this one absolutely horrible portrait photographer who apparently bought an email list with my name on it. I get these terrible, unappealing spam emails from him about his portrait openings/sales. The only reason why I haven't asked him to unsubscribe me is because a.) his spams are infrequent b.) his photos are so bad that it's actually amusing to read/see.
