I'll do an overall gaming thread so we can have a place to be. It will be for any and all games that you play/ have played. And i'll start it off.
The game i play the most is World of Warcraft (Warcrack as most would call it)
I am on the Norgannon server with to many toons, lol.
Hunter
Rogue
Death Knight
Other toons include: A shammy at 74 and a warrior at 44.
I do also play X-box 360, though i dont really have sufficient funds to go live yet. Also play the Wii with my wife, mostly Mario Cart.
Next, lol

Wow player here as well.
I play on the Kargath realm (alliance.) I only have 1 level 80, a mage. Haven't been able to level anything else all the way up, lol.
I used to play WoW but it got old and too repetitive. And addicting.
I can understand this, just enjoy wow a bit more. I prob will end up getting x-box live, just need to wait till the 1st of the month to see if i get promoted and i can get my bonus and pay off my bills.
I still play Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory, a 6-year old standalone freeware game that is solidly crafted, always free, and still has a large following. No monthly fees for me!
WoW player - 63rd level Druid shaman on Duraton.
I have other toons, but he's my fav to play. I'm resto spec'd... at leastn I was until my husband committed toon atrocities and deleted his toons..... Now I'm balance spec'd (I think) so I can do AOE a bit more...
--------------------------- "Dying people lie too. Wish they'd worked less, been nicer, opened orphanages for kittens. If you really want to do something, you do it. You don't save it for a sound bite."
I take my son to all the MLG tournaments; One coming up this summer in Dallas. I also bought him his own tournament web site and added the ladder software so all his buddies could play together. Its ptlgaming.com; They do live tournaments and capture the whole thing and the local gaming store lets them come in and do it there for free.
He's 17 and has over 700 members since I got it for him to set up last month.
I have to wing him from it time and again to come back to reality. lol
Torrey - Where can i get the game, sounds like fun.
Donna - Get your husband to put in a ticket and get his toons back, yes it can be done. i didnt feel like starting another rogue, so i asked to see if i could get the one i deleted back, and they found him just the way i deleted him, naked, lol. All you need to know is the toons names and their lvl at the time of the deletion.
And i think we should start a guild, lol. and call it Texas Photo Fourm. anyone else game.
I was a WoW player but it got old after a year. I am online on occasion with my PS3, usually playing coworkers on Civ: Revolution, Little Big Planet, or Motorstorm 2. I also have Resistance 2, Killzone 2 and Soul Calibur 4.
Used to play WoW, a lot. Haven't touched it a while and planning to keep it that way too much time wasted and ya it's worse than crack.
Had a 70 in almost every class on the Horde side, love my 60 rogue before the expansion ganking on Ally was always fun. Played mainly on Burning Legion.
Before that when I was still in school, Quake I. I could do the rocket jump almost every hard to get corner. Best first real 3D game ever, most fun was camping in the elevator where the rocket appears. Then came the stoogie bot, and it ruined the game.
I have never played WOW. Scared to, seems like I'd enjoy it too much and don't want it to suck me in. I do have xbox live, but find that I don't really play coop very much. a Live gold account is only worth it if you have a lot of games with coop and intend on playing them that way, otherwise you aren't missing much just playing on a silver account. As for games, I'm still working on Fable 2. They keep releasing new expansions for it so that's nice.
WoW player since release in 2004. I played pretty hardcore at first, and most of the way through Burning Crusade. Pre-BC i was in one of the top guilds on the server. We were farming every instance, even Naxx. I was working nights at the time, so i joined a guild that was about 95% made up of people from Singapore, and we raided at around 7am, monday wedsday friday and clean up anything we didnt clear on sundays.
BC came out and a few months after my guild disbanded and reformed with the core members who were able to make most raid days. we had all been playing together for a couple of years at that point and knew how everyone played and what to expect from everyone. We got behind in the server races during the disband/reformation and didnt quite clear everything in BC before Wrath came out. We cleared TK, SSC, ZA, and them some of Hyjal and some of Sunwell.
Around the time Wrath came out i started a new job and my schedule went back to normal, so i stopped being able to raid with my guild, and havent really played much at all. My main is only to 77 and my main alt is only 74. Every time i get on i feel SO far behind and its almost discouraging. Also, my guild transferred to an oceanic realm after wrath came out so they could play on their time zone, so i followed, and now i dont really know anyone on that realm. But, my guild is there and they are the best players ive ever played with, so as soon as i get to 80 im sure ill be gearing up and running right along with them.
My main is a 77 Troll Mage. He was the first character i ever created. Was on Shattered Hand (PvP) for 95% of the time, and now on Jubei'thos Oceanic realm.
My main alt is a 74 Tauren Druid. I think hes still on Shattered Hand but havent played him in so long i cant remember if i ever transferred him or not.
My wife has also been playing but only since 06 when i finally dragged her into it. :)
She currently has a Undead Warlock and is in the same guild and server as me.
I have at least one of every other class in the game into the 30s, and a few more between 45ish and 60 that i never leveled past 60.
Damn, all this talk has made me wanna go play again.
One word: glider if you don't want to spend countless hours grinding.
Troll mage was my second character. Sold him for $500 when I got tired of playing him. Also sold various items for money when I had time to get a good route to glide

haven't touched WOW in over 2 years, stopped when I saw all the changes to the game for Burning Crusade and didn't like the way they were breaking so many things IMO, and really ruining the way many played the game and certain classes. Had lvl 60 Hunter in full Dragonstalker, with trinkets, rings etc and weapons from AQ (Barb of the Sand Reaver and Huhuran's Stinger). Had Exalted rep with Timbermaw, Cenarion etc etc. 300 in cooking, skinning, Tribal LW blah blah blah. Even had a Druid that I used for raiding when needed too, level 60 on her and she'd been to just about every raid that was available at the time before BC. My Hunter was probably top 5 on the server, and had starts that were damned near untouchable. Used to have screenshots, I think I broke 1000 RAP at one point lol. DPS was off the fricken charts for fights like the Twin Emps in AQ. Main pulled everything, smooth as butter.
now if I play anything it's mostly just Wii or PS3. Just finally got around to beating Star Wars: Force Unleashed. Still have SF4 on the shelf, and Little Big Planet as well.

WoW is definitely addicting. I honestly can't imagine starting brand new at this point though. With the level cap up to 80 now I don't think I could ever level a fresh character all the way without having a main character to fall back on when the leveling gets tiring. The only way I can continue to make new alts is because I know i've always got my Mage or Druid to play when I get tired of collecting pirate hats and getting ganked in Stranglethorn Vail by bored level 80s.

lvling a new char is exhausting. i did the refer-a-friend to get a buddy to start playing. we get 3x the XP and i still find it tiring, lol! we've been playing for a couple of nights a week for 3 weeks and are at 20 though, so i guess it's going pretty quickly.

I don't even want to pick it up now, I remember how much time it was to keep pushing content. My guild raided pretty much every night of the week, and all day on Sunday. We'd clear MC in a couple of hours on a weeknight, and Blackwing Lair on a Sunday, eventually BWL turned into a couple of hours on a weeknight as well. But just the constant farming to get all the materials and potions and everything else you needed just to play...almost kind of glad that they broke the class and started it all over so that I left. If I hadn't I wouldn't be doing photography now tho...lol
Its acctually gotten a lot easier to lvl up to about 60, it jsut gets really repetitive. and once i hit 80 with my toons, i got bored and just kind of walked away for a bit. then of course went back for a little bit just to catch up with everyone, see how family's are and what not. maybe run and instance or 2, pvp a little then get off for the night.

Yeah, it definitely is a lot easier to get to 60, even 70 now, since they doubled the XP that you get plus lowered the amount needed to level. my problem is that ive done all the quests so many times that they just get boring and i start getting bored with the characters around level 35.
Also, i havent leveled a toon since they dropped the Riding skill level requirement down to level 30 now. Im sure that alone makes things go quicker through that 30-40 stage. Once i get out of my 30's ive always been fine with leveling. Its just that brutal Stranglethorn Vale level range, which is like a good 8-10 levels, that i cant get past.
It probably doesnt help that im on a PvP server and have always been...
Fallout 3 is just brilliant. Bethesda really outdid themselves with this game. Not much beats shooting somebody with a high powered energy rifle and watching them turn into green goop.
My main toon on WoW is a level 80 Tauren Death Knight. I've just started an Undead Priest. Both of them are on Doomhammer. PvE realms are so much nicer for casual players like me.

Life seen through the lens is an extraordinary thing.

I hated STV so much that when I leveled my 2nd character I refused to go there and did it all on the other side at the Racetrack and in the deserts.
My main character is a level 80 Orc warlock on the Alterac Mountains server (formerly of Bloodscalp, but my entire guild transferred when Bloodscalp was having major issues during Naxx). I play in a "casual hardcore" raiding guild. We've currently cleared Ulduar 25-man are are working on the hard modes. I also run a WoW website with my boyfriend, which is currently in a stagnant state while we get version 2.0 completed.
Jezebel added 3 Minutes and 57 Seconds later...Double Post Merged Below
As far as non-wow games are concerned, I'm a huge Left 4 Dead (PC) player. I've also been playing Okami a bit on my Wii but I haven't gotten very far into it. My favorite game of all time is probably Shadow of the Colossus... so when I saw that the team that makes it is working on another game it made my heart skip a beat. I'm totally in love with the trailer.
Hahaha, yeap - my boyfriend and I run it! We feel terrible because the Ulduar info isn't up to date now, but we have a lot of big changes underway. We've felt like it's made more sense to put our focus into the new system to make it as awesome as possible. Traffic has taken a hit as a result but I know that when we have the new stuff done it will be kick ass. :D I'll make sure to post here in the thread when it's ready!
